Choose the suit you have the fewest tiles in
In Sichuan Bloody mahjong, you must choose a forbidden suit and discard all tiles of that suit. Choose the suit where you have the fewest tiles — that means fewer discards to reach a playable hand. Counting your tiles by suit is the first step to a strong opening.
