Sequence melds are not allowed
In many mahjong variants, you can claim a discarded tile to form a sequence (chi) — three consecutive tiles in the same suit. In Sichuan Mahjong, chi is NOT allowed. You can only claim tiles with peng (triplet) or kong (quad).
